Some of the Process ✏️🎨

I begin by drawing an idea, which could come from a book 📚, cartoon 🎬, nature 🌳, or even a human gesture 🤲. This idea is then expanded upon, redrawn, erased, and redrawn again until it's just right. ✏️🔄

Once ready, the final drawing is traced onto a clear piece of thin plastic using a litho-Ink type pen. 🖊️🖼️

These tracings are then exposed onto a screen using my hand-made (and very proud of it!) light box 💡🔲.

Next, I do a test print or two on a t-shirt 👕, and when I see the design printed for the first time, I jump up and down 🕺💥—it’s so rad! From there, I choose the hoodie color and ink color, testing the combinations, with more jumping up and down 🥳 or maybe some rethinking 🤔 if the combo needs adjusting.

Once the stars align 🌟✨ and the devil doesn’t interfere 😈, a hoodie with the design that started as paper and pencil is made. And then... the final step—the design hits the website 🌐, where all hoodie wearers’ dreams come true! 😴🧥💭

Inspiration 🌟🌲🏔️

I live surrounded by trees, rivers, towering mountains, and wide-open spaces. 🌳🌊⛰️ At night, the stars are bright ✨, and the clouds and storms that roll through are wild and unpredictable. ⛈️🌌

My designs are inspired by cartoons 🎨📺, a simple human gesture 🤝, a book 📖, or the beauty of my surroundings 🌿🏞️.
